If you are not using global templates in Confluence - it is time to start. It is one of the many truly useful features of the Confluence enterprise wiki.

Global templates are page templates available in every space on your site. There are heaps of pre-defined templates already available and you can even create your own.

When you create a new page, rather than create your own formatting, sift through the available templates. There are some well-designed templates for almost all your project needs.

Global templates

To create and edit global templates, you must be a site-wide administrator. You can control which templates are available globally, edit existing templates, create your own, and even install new ones from the Atlassian Marketplace.
