About Kiandra

In a garage on Kiandra Close in Greensborough, Kiandra was born. Just Cam and Marty, a couple of Pentium-60s and many an evening building Access databases and Visual Basic applications.

Enjoying early growth, the time was right to start bossing someone around  – enter Daniel. He had to sit on a milk crate on his first day. We’re glad to say our induction process has improved since then.

We’re not referring to the much-feared Y2K bug, we’re talking about the dotcom bubble. There’s nothing like an industry crash in the early years to toughen you up. We survived so it’s: Kiandra 1, industry 0.

To much surprise, a little dev house from Melbourne won the Microsoft Global Partner of the Year for Application Development! One of our proudest achievements to date.

Some of our amazing Kiandrians live out west so Perth became our sunny second home. Here, we've delivered serious software for some of WA's leading organisations.

Thanks to a successful global ordering platform implementation in Melbourne and New Zealand, we expanded into Toronto, Canada to address client demand.

Low-code emerges and Kiandra upskills on a leading platform called OutSystems. We partnered with WA Health for an amazing project, winning the OutSystems Partner of the Year (AUS & NZ).

We decided to divest our Managed Services business to focus purely on the growing demand for software development, delivering serious software for Australia's leading organisations.

In late 2022, we claimed the global OutSystems Innovation Award – a nod to our hard work in building a new end-to-end, in-house shipping agency application for global shipping specialists, MONSON.

ISO 27001 Information Security is the global standard for effective information management. By achieving this certification, Kiandra has invested in the people, processes and technology to effectively manage the security of data.

In late 2024, Kiandra became a certified B Corp, joining a global movement of businesses using their power to build a more sustainable and equitable future. The certification affirms we’re doing the right thing and provides a trusted mark for our stakeholders.

We achieved the OutSystems Gold partner status (formerly Premier partner) becoming the first in ANZ. We also picked up another OutSystems partner of the year award.  

Kiandra joined the Svitla Systems family, marking an exciting new chapter that expands our capabilities and global reach. This acquisition combines decades of expertise, strengthening our ability to deliver innovative technology solutions for clients across Australia and beyond.
