Kiandra's Stuart Harris OutSystems Champion, with heading - 'How to customise a user interface with OutSystems'

Creating a clear, consistent visual experience is an essential element of great software. But, depending on the platform being used – customising the user interface can be time consuming and fiddly.

The OutSystems Theme Editor is an intuitive and simple to use tool which ensures your application is on brand and provides a consistent visual experience. The editor enables theme settings to be applied across the entire application and enables customisation right down to the CSS level.

User interface using OutSystems

In the second of our tutorial series, Senior Developer Stuart Harris will show you how quick and easy it is to customise a user interface using the OutSystems Theme Editor. Watch this 4-minute video and learn:

  • How OutSystems generates colour palettes based on your logo,
  • How to edit colours, fonts and backgrounds using the Theme Editor,
  • How to customise the theme down to CSS level.

Theme editing can be as simple or as complex as you choose, we hope this short snapshot showed how deeply you can customise using the Theme Editor. To explore what’s possible with theme editing we recommend testing OutSystems with a free personal environment. Sign up is simple and you can start building your first software project in minutes.
